In the middle of the province’s main industrial area, on the road leading to UNESCO heritage sites, where the combination of sports and tourism is growing-the ideal place to foster the emergence of a new innovation ecosystem.
Sport Business Forum is the initiative promoted by the Veneto Region, Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, Confindustria Veneto Est, Assosport, Chamber of Commerce Treviso Belluno, and Fondazione Dmo Dolomiti Bellunesi, to be the point of reference for sport and the value it generates, both economic and social: a widespread event held in the places of excellence of the sport system.
The first edition of this unique event in Italy was held from September 11 to 15, 2024.
Within the event, the theme of innovation and its spillover into all areas related to the sports economy will be an annual fixture at Longarone Fiere, thus transforming into the Hub of Innovation for Sport and one of the pillars of Dolomiti Innovation Valley.
With the collaboration of Elis Innovation Hub, Industrio Ventures, and Wylab, an open innovation program for Outdoor Sports was initiated in 2022: from now, the program will open up to new challenges and become a regular fixture in the Hub at Longarone Fiere.
This year, start-ups, large companies and institutions shared innovative solutions on September 12 on 4 thematic areas: “New Materials,” “Human Performances,” “Sports Data&AI,” and “Social Model & Applications.”
Innovative solutions presented: Mag Bike, E-poles by Gabel, Humetry, ONESporter, Kilogram, Challenger XR, Buran, Soccerment, MLA, Ginga, Pick-Roll app, Clava Sports.
